Job summary
Chelsea Medical Services is looking to recruit a dynamic receptionists / administrator to join our team in delivering high standards of patient care. The role is part time afternoon working 3 days a week (15.5 hours).
Do you have a positive 'can do' attitude with strong communication skills and an understanding of high-quality customer service, if so we would like to hear from you.
Previous experience within a similar environment, using SystmOne, is desirable but we are happy to provide training to the right candidates who want to join our fast paced team.
The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a good telephone manner. They must remain calm in the face of challenging individuals who can sometimes be belligerent. The candidate must maintain a professional manner at all times and not be provocative.
Main duties of the job
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Book appointments
- Answer the telephone
- Open and close the surgery
- Scan and file electronic and paper documents
- Process repeat prescriptions
- Register new patients
- Assist with meeting QOF targets
- Type letters dictated by the GPs
- Process and follow up referrals and eRS
