This is an exciting opportunity for an
experienced and motivated HCA who takes pride in delivering high-quality
patient care within a primary care setting. The successful candidate will work
closely with our Nursing and Clinical teams to provide a wide range of patient
services.
We are a friendly, newly refurbished, and
modern GP practice with a growing list size of over 11,400 patients. As our
practice continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic, kind, caring
and compassionate Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our supportive Nursing
Team.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:
- NHS Health Checks- Blood pressure monitoring and ECG recording- Urinalysis and simple wound care- Removal of sutures and clips- Ear irrigation- Health promotion and lifestyle advice- Administration of flu vaccinations and vitamin B12 injections under PSD- Spirometry- Assistance with IUCD and Contraceptive Implant procedures
