An opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly and expanding nursing team at Holmes Chapel Health Centre. We are looking for a Practice Nurse with experience in Respiratory Medicine.
General Practice experience is required for this role.
Undertaking general practice nurse duties would be included, such as treatment room and chronic disease monitoring.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for review of our respiratory patients with Asthma and COPD. You will undertake their annual reviews, undertake Spirometry interpretation and advise on their medication.
Non-medical prescriber qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
Involvement in one late surgery per week until 8pm is part of the role.
About us
We are an expanding health centre with 13000 patients and growing. We currently have 3 ANP's, 3 practice nurses, 2 health care assistants. We are recruiting for another Practice Nurse as a new role to join the team.
We have 5 partners, and three salaried GP's. We are a training practice, and train medical students, nursing students, F1 posts and GP trainees.
We are part of the Congleton and Holmes Chapel PCN and have a full range of Medical Professionals working at the practice including Clinical Pharmacist, Paramedics, FCP, Mental Health Practitioners, Social Prescribers, Physio as well as a large and very supportive Non-clinical team.
