Practice Nurse

Job summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced and committed Practice Nurse to join our enthusiastic, supportive, and friendly team at Cranbrook Medical Practice a forward-thinking surgery at the heart of a growing new town near Exeter.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team where you're truly valued, where your ideas matter, and where your development is a shared priority. A Registered Nurse qualification and experience in a Practice Nurse role are essential for this post.

Main duties of the job

Management of long-term conditions, including development of individualised care plans.

General Treatment Room Duties.

Cervical cytology and womens health, including family planning.

Childhood, adult, and travel vaccinations.

Phlebotomy.

Wound care, suture removal, and dressings.

Doppler studies.

Ensuring accurate documentation and high standards of patient care.

Contributing to QOF, audits, and improvement projects.

Maintaining NMC registration and professional revalidation.
