Job summary

We are looking for a GP to provide 1 session per week, until April 2025.

The post will be employed via the ARRS GP funding scheme, and the successful candidate must have qualified as a GP within the last 2 years. The post holder must not hold a substantive post within another GP practice.

The post will work within a multidisciplinary team dealing with on the day patient appointments, with protected time for workflow/path/letter management and hopefully a good work/life balance.

Main duties of the job

Clinical Responsibilities:

Undertaking a variety of duties including telephone triage, acute and routine appointments, both face to face and telephone consultations, visiting patients at home (where appropriate), checking and signing repeat prescriptions/EPS and dealing with queries, pathology and letters in a timely fashion.

We are a friendly and supportive team, with lots of experienced members of staff that are on hand for advice and assistance.

We have a great MDT made up of our GP Partners, salaried GP, Registrars, sitting alongside, Social Prescribers, Clinical Pharmacist, FCP, Nurse Practitioner, HCAs and admin and secretarial teams.
