Job summary
The successful applicant will
complement our Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians and should demonstrate significant experience
in delivering a range of patient facing services in general practice; be highly
motivated and enthusiastic to support their primary healthcare team colleagues.
Clinical Supervision and
Continuing Professional Development are actively encouraged and the successful
applicant will be expected to contribute to and participate regularly within
our PCN and its member practices.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide expert clinical
pharmaceutical advice on issues relating to medicines optimisation and use
within primary care to all members of the practice teams (e.g. GPs, practice
nurses, administration staff) and across the PCN neighbourhood footprint. The post holder manages the high quality,
safe, cost-effective and evidence-based use of medication within the PCN
neighbourhood footprint, including audit, training and education. Establishing
and maintaining good working relationships within the multidisciplinary team is
key to this role.
Hours 37.5 hours per week
Pay - dependent on qualifications
and experience.
Annual Leave 27 days, plus bank holidays (pro-rata)

House Surgeries are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the expanding
healthcare team within our PCN. The
postholder would be expected to work across the three GP Practices; Aelfgar and
Brereton Surgeries in Rugeley and Hazeldene House Surgery in Great Haywood.
This post provides an exciting
opportunity for dynamic and dedicated individuals to work within the primary
care setting; as set out in the launch of the new Five Year GP contract by
