Job summary
We are recruiting a part time or full time salaried GP for 4-8 sessions
per week and an occasional Saturday AM. The position is available immediately
however, a later start would be considered for the right candidate.
Annual salary £48,000 - £84,000 depending on number of sessions worked

To provide full GP service to patient population in semi rural practice
by providing telephone, face to face and occasional home visit consultations.
About us
Pear Tree surgery is a 3 partner, 5 salaried GP semi-rural dispensing
and training practice in North Warwickshire. From our main surgery based in
Kingsbury and our smaller site in Hurley, we provide full general medical
services to a list of approximately 10,500 patients.
In addition to our GPs our friendly team includes 2 Practice Nurses, 1
HCA, as well as numerous non clinical and administrative roles.
As active participants of the Rural North Warwickshire PCN we are
further supported by Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists,
Paramedics, a Mental Health Link Worker, Social Prescriber and Care
Coordinator.
In accordance with the practice timetable the post holder must
carry out a variety of pre-booked and duty doctor appointment sessions. These
will include telephone, face to face and occasional home visit consultations.

Providing full GP service to practice population including (but
not limited to); assessing the healthcare needs of patients, screening patients
for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, providing counselling and
health education and accurately referring or signposting to secondary care
where appropriate.
Completing daily tasks accurately and in a timely manner. These
can include and are not limited to actioning results and clinical
correspondence, signing repeat prescriptions, dealing with queries and
completing reports.
Supporting patients in the management of chronic diseases,
conducting periodic reviews where appropriate and correctly coding patient
records for the purpose of QOF.
Working collaboratively with practice admin team to ensure
referrals, tests and appointments requests are correctly completed and
communicated.
Using best clinical practice in terms of prescribing.
Delivery of enhanced service, utilising any speciality where
appropriate.
Embracing
technology and utilising clinical system (EMIS) to full potential to create
efficiencies and improve patient outcomes.
