Millway Medical Practice is a large, forward-thinking, high-performing NHS GP practice in Mill Hill, North London. With a patient list of 25,000+ and a growing multidisciplinary team of over 60 staff, we are seeking an experienced and confident Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our dynamic clinical team.

Main duties of the job
You will work as an autonomous clinician managing a broad range of acute presentations and minor illness within general practice. You will be expected to assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe (if qualified), and safely manage patients independently.
The role includes:

Assessment and management of minor illness and urgent same-day presentations

Independent prescribing (if qualified)

Triage and management of acute eConsult requests

Clinical documentation and workflow management

Undertaking home visits where clinically appropriate

Supporting the wider MDT with clinical advice and shared care

Working collaboratively with GPs, pharmacists, paramedics and nursing colleagues

1. Job Purpose
To work as an autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner within Millway Medical Practice, delivering high-quality, safe, evidence-based care to patients presenting with acute and minor illness.
The post holder will assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe (where qualified), and manage patients independently within their scope of practice, contributing to the overall clinical performance and governance of the practice.

Escalate appropriately to GP colleagues when outside scope or complexity threshold
Digital & Administrative Responsibilities
