Job summary
To assist the
Practices clinical team by undertaking a range of clinical and administrative
support functions in delivery of service to patients. HCAs work within the
established policies, standards and guidelines of the practice at all times,
referring back to a registered healthcare professional any patient where an
informed clinical judgement is required.
The demands of
this post require a person who works well under pressure and who is
enthusiastic, self-motivated and who can remain calm in sometimes stressful
situations.
The
post-holder will be exposed to blood and other bodily fluids and therefore will
be meticulous in adhering to precautions.
Main duties of the job
BPs, pulse, temperature, height, weight, BMI, peak
flow, blood glucose.Urinalysis

About us
We are a Practice of 9000 patients in Bampton, West Oxfordshire. We serve the community of Bampton and surrounding villages. Approx 1/3 of our patients live in the nearby town of Carterton, where we have a branch site to serve the local community.
We are in a beautiful location, nestled between the Cotswolds to the west and Oxford to the east. We serve military families as the RAF Brize Norton is situated between Bampton and Carterton.
