Eastwood Primary Care Centre is a well-established practice operating across two sites, serving a diverse patient population.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated receptionist to complement our friendly and dynamic team. If you are hardworking and passionate about providing a high standard of care to our patients, we would like to hear from you.
This role has some flexibility in working hours' availability (but 2-3 evenings/week are essential). This is an opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a busy, patient-focused GP practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in delivering outstanding service.
Main duties of the job
Welcoming and assisting patients and visitors
Booking, amending and cancelling appointments
Handling general enquiries
Signposting patients to the appropriate service or clinician
Providing administrative support to the wider team
Ensuring accurate documentation in patient records
Liaising with patients, pharmacies, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals
Maintaining a calm, confidential and professional manner in a busy environment

Our multi-disciplinary team includes GPs, Pharmacists, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants (HCAs), and Phlebotomists, all supported by a strong admin team.
