Job summary
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team, to cover 18 hours a week over 3 days.
The successful candidate would be joining an excellent administration and clinical team, who remain adjustable and sympathetic to the changes in general practice and the NHS.
Previous experience of working as a HCA in a GP setting would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job
The working hours are:
Tuesday - 08:00-14:00
Wednesday - 08:00-14:00
Thursday - 08:00-14:00
You must be able to demonstrate that you are an excellent team player and will assist the Clinical team in the provision and delivery of safe patient care.

Blood pressure
Phlebotomy
Dressings
New Patient Health Checks and NHS Health Checks
Targeted chronic disease management
Long term condition reviews
Diabetic foot checks
B12, Shingles, Pneumonia and Flu vaccinations
Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well being to enhance Practice QOF achievement
Chaperoning duties
Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GP/Nurses
Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording
Surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation
Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions

- Phlebotomy
- Chaperoning duties
