Being a Medical Secretary is
one where you will be helping to mend lives and keep the music playing. The key
focus of this role is to provide a professional and efficient service to
patients and doctors through the provision of high quality administrative
activities.
Main duties of the job
Do you have secretarial
and customer service experience gained within a medical setting? If so, we are passionate about what we do and
we want to hear from you. This is a very
demanding and busy role, but one where you have the opportunity to make life a
bit better.
This opportunity has
become available as a team member has been promoted within the Practice. The
successful candidate needs to be able to work on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
and Friday starting at 9.00am until 5.00pm, with the exception of Thursday when
you will work until 7.00pm

- Experience of working within a Medical Practice

- Experience of using patient databases, ideally EMIS Web, including: input, analysis and presentation of information
- Experience of working as a Medical Secretary providing a professional, effective and quality service
Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level III (or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards
- GCSE Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English Language and mathematics
