Job summary
Operations Lead:
We are pleased to advertise the post of Operations Lead at Trent Meadows Medical Practice. This is an exciting role for someone experienced in primary care. You will be the patient facing troubleshooter and focal point for reception staff over two sites. You will provide support and training to new reception staff, liaising with the clinical team including; Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Students and Locum staff. Representing your Reception team at meetings and providing individual development under supervision of the Management team. You will be responsible for the performance of your team and staffing both sites at reception level. You will also manage the clinical rotas, holidays and liaising with the Practice Manager to ensure adequate cover. You will provide direct leadership and guidance to the Admin Team, Secretaries and Reception Team.
The ideal candidate will have strong QOF and QIF knowledge, be able to create and run searches. Able to guide and lead a team on target achievement, whilst always looking to develop new streamline processes and audit to identify areas for improvement.
You will have the skillset to develop new AI systems and possess the ability to develop and train the whole team in the delivery of these. Contribute to the overall operational, strategical and clinical development of Trent Meadows Medical Practice.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the Leadership of the Operations team and function as a whole team. Ensure line management duties are carried out with direct reports.
You will have a full understanding of QOF, QIF and EMIS reporting and be responsible in driving this forwards for the team.
Act as recruitment Lead for the Reception, Admin and Secretary teams. Contribute to the overall operational, strategical and clinical development of Trent Meadows Medical Practice. Ensure that all training, development and induction of all Operational Staff members are undertaken in line with practice policies and procedures. Complete effective Appraisals for Reception, secretaries and Admin team members. Aiding in creating PDP for all with timely goals set.
Responsible for taking calls for sickness and logging sickness for all team members / to include notifying the relevant people of any changes in diaries for clinical team members. Ensuring return to work interviews are completed and provided to the practice Manager in a timely manner and alerting the Practice Manager of any concerns in line with the sickness absence policy. Assisting the Practice Manager with Disciplinaries, grievances and staffing HR concerns.
This role is in need of someone is very proactive and able to use their own initiative to drive forwards in a target driven environment
