Job summary

We are looking to recruit a salaried GP, for 3 sessions per week at our Surgery based in Lees Oldham.

Main duties of the job

We participate in a full range of Enhanced Services and use the EMIS Web clinical system, along with DOCMAN 10. We are high QOF achievers. We are also well engaged with the Primary Care Network.

We are also a training practice and have GP trainees.

About us

We are a medium , well-established, friendly, caring GMS practice with a list size of 9500.Our practice consists of 4 partners, 1 salaried GP,1 ANP ,1 Matron, 4 Practice Nurses and an HCA, currently with a very supportive administrative team.

Your responsibilities as a General Practitioner;

The following are the core responsibilities of the General Practitioner. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels

Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions

Carry out patient consultations at home and within the surgery

Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing

Carry out clinical examinations

Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments

Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams
