Job summary
Bounds Green Group Practice is a well-established, high-performing training practice in North London, serving approximately 19,000 patients. We offer a genuinely sustainable GP role with 46 sessions, 15-minute appointments as standard, and protected workflow time built into every session.
We are seeking a confident and motivated GP to join our highly collaborative and supportive team. The successful candidate will be comfortable working within a structured total triage model and able to manage clinical workload independently within a well-supported system.
Each session includes protected time to manage results, correspondence and clinical workflow, alongside a dedicated GP follow-up slot to support continuity of care.

The postholder will work within a structured and well-supported clinical model, delivering a mix of routine GP sessions, duty sessions and total triage.
Key responsibilities include:

Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care through face-to-face and remote consultations

Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions

Work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Participate in duty and triage within a structured and safe system

Prescribe safely in line with local and national guidelines

Manage clinical workflow, including results and correspondence, with protected time built into each session

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using EMIS

Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development

Support teaching and supervision of students and trainees where appropriate

Bounds Green Group Practice is a well-established GP training practice in North London, serving a diverse population of approximately 19,000 patients.
We have a stable and experienced partnership supported by a strong multidisciplinary team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals, alongside a highly capable administrative team.
As a training practice, we support medical students from UCL and the Royal Free Medical School, as well as GP Registrars and FY2 doctors, creating a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.
Our GP Partners hold senior leadership roles within the wider system, including positions within the PCN, Federation and GP Training Programme, contributing to service development, education and innovation.

Supported by a strong MDT, including pharmacists and ARRS roles to reduce GP workload

Contribution to QOF and enhanced services as part of routine care
