Job summary
We are looking for 1 full timer ( Job share may be considered ) enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Practice Administrator to assist the practice manager in the running of the practice.
Previous expereience of working in a GP Practice is essential.
Main duties of the job
To support the practice in all aspects of practice functionality, motivating and optimising efficiency and overall performance, ensuring the practice achieves its long term objectives.

Haden Vale Medical Practice is a General Practice located on the borders of Black Country.
There is x 3 GP Partners, x 2 salaried GPS, Practice Nurse, X 2HCAs and full compliment of admin staff.
We are a dynamic and friendly team already experienced at working together to deliver excellent care of our patients. We form part of Citrus PCN, we are also a GP teaching practice as well as teaching univesity Students.

Job responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the Senior Practice Administrator there may be on occasions, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels.
The Senior Practice Administrator is responsible for:
Supporting the Practice Manager in the day-to-day operations of the practice
Assisting the Practice Manager with the administrative elements of QOF, PCCF, IIF & DES work liaising with GPs, nursing staff and administrators
Assist the team to reach QOF targets, IIF, PCF(supported by the nursing and administrative leads)
Submitting monthly FFT and other requests from the PCN
CQRS Submissions
Admin Staff Rotas/ Authorising of annual leave/ Practice Ledgers
Inputting of information onto GP Teamnet
Actively encouraging and promoting the use of patient online services
Updating and acting as the focal point for the practice website and social media sites
Developing searches and audits on the clinical system using Ardens
Marketing the practice appropriately to ensure patient population is stable or increasing
Ensuring the staff implement the practice wide approach to the management of all patient services matters
Managing DNAs, providing data and planning tools coupled with liaison with referred repeat offenders for LTCs
Booking in of minor surgery appointments
Covering Holiday periods/Sickness when required
Workflow/Tasks
Updating of practice notice boards
Any other duties as per practice manager designates
Assist with IT issues
In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Senior Practice Administrator may be requested to:
Deputise for the Practice Manager if needed
Workflow
Monitor and disseminate information on safety alerts and other pertinent information
Brief clinicians on performance levels, advising actions to ensure high achievement across all QOF areas
Support the Practice Manager and input to the significant event database,
Support the Practice Manager withupdating of practice policies and procedures
Any other duties deemed appropriate by Practice Manager
