Job summary
Birchwood Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity for a 4 session (Tuesday & Wednesday) salaried GP to join our friendly practice team providing a high quality service to our 11,000 patients under the ARRS framework.
This role is ideal for a recently qualified GP looking to develop their career in a supportive environment. In line with NHS England's ARRS guidelines for 2025/26 the successful applicant:
- Must have obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) within the last two years at the point of recruitment.
- Should not have been previously substantively employed as a GP in general practice.
ARRS roles are recruited to support East Warrington PCN which comprises 3 GP Practices. Each Practice employs ARRS staff, however on occasion the PCN may experience a short staff supply and therefore to ensure business continuity, you may be asked to work across the other practices within the PCN to ensure a fair allocation and ensure business runs smoothly for our patients. This would usually be for a short period of time until PCN business resumes to normal
An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated doctor with strong commitment to good patient care and an ability to work as part of a well organised practice team. You will benefit from regular training/progression opportunities in a supportive environment, with plenty of opportunity to develop your career and special interests. Regular clinicians' meetings provide peer support and sharing of best practice.
