Job summary

Manor Brook Medical Centre is looking for a new member of staff to join or busy but friendly practice.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a new Care Navigator (receptionist) to join our team.

You will be required to deal with patients face to face and via the telephone.You will be trained to navigate patients into the correct service ensuring the patient has the correct pathway and is seeing by the correct person.

Job responsibilities

Our Care Navigators (Receptionists) receive full training to be able to deal with all patients enquiries from booking appointments to dealing with patient issues.

Our Care Navigators are required to sign post patients into the correct services available at the surgery face to face or via the telephone.

Staff will be required to use computers and telephones in this role.

The role we have available is a part time role with fixed 22 hours per week:

Monday - 10am - 2pm, Tuesday 8am- 2pm, Wednesday - 3pm - 7pm, Thursday 8am - 12pm, Friday - 3pm - 7pm

There is the opportunity for overtime to cover sickness and holiday
