Main duties of the job
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Salaried GP to provide cover on Fridays. This role is crucial in supporting our busy practice and ensuring seamless patient care.
As a Salaried GP, you will work alongside our Duty Doctor, managing a diverse caseload of both acute and ongoing ailments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Consultations: Conducting a mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments, providing comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Acute and Chronic Care: Managing a wide range of clinical presentations, from urgent cases to long-term conditions.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Working closely with the Duty Doctor and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Administrative Duties: Undertaking essential administrative tasks, including reviewing patient letters, signing prescriptions, and managing clinical correspondence.
- Flexibility: Adapting to the dynamic demands of a busy GP practice, ensuring efficient and effective patient flow.
This role requires a GP with excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.

We are a well-established and respected training practice based in Harwood, Bolton, with a branch site in Tonge Moor. We are dedicated to providing excellent clinical care to over 12,000 patients and offer a supportive and structured environment for our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Newly Qualified GP to join us for 2 sessions per week for a 6 month fixed-term contract with a view to extend up to 12 months.

- Contribute to the practices continuing professional development.
- Professional Development:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Engage in continuing professional development activities.
Essential Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or equivalent (within 2 years of qualification)
- Experience in providing primary care services.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong IT skills.
- Availability to work on Fridays.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar GP practice setting.
- Experience with EMIS Web
