ARRS ROLE - SALARIED GP FIXED TERM ARRS
CONTRACT till end March 2025
3-5 sessions pw depending on start date commencing asap till 31 March 2025
Only open to newly qualified GPs (within the last 2
years as per ARRS regulations) - needs to be first substantive position
Pay rate as dictated by ARRS maximum reimbursable sessional rates

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate GP to join our team, providing comprehensive primary medical care to our patients and working closely with other professonals for the benefit of our patients

We are a forward-thinking practice with a supportive team and a strong, patient-centred ethos. Our main surgery is in the semi-rural setting of Whaley Bridge, on the edge of the beautiful Peak District but easily accessible from Stockport, Manchester and Sheffield.
- Total triage practice, ensuring that day to day appointments are not exceeded
- Access to local Acute Home Visiting Team, reducing demand for home visits
- PMS practice with 8,300+ patients
- Multi-disciplinary clinical team including ACPs, Pharmacist, Practice Nurses and HCAs
- CQC rated outstanding, well-led practice
- Range of clinical and team meetings held
- Actively engaged in the PCN
- Training practice
- EMIS Web
- High QOF
- Use of AccuRx to speed up communications with patients.

- UK GP NHS Experience including: working with mental health patients; health promotion; Chronic Disease Management; Paediatrics; Obstetrics
- Understanding of Clinical Governance and
- quality issues
- Understanding of the role of teamwork in providing
- quality services
- Experience of participating in audit
- Experience in maintaining patients records at an acceptable standard for audit purposes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to use practice computer systems to record all clinical data
- The ability to develop close working partnerships between individuals, teams and organisations
Desirable
- Experience of student teaching
- Experience of participating in research
- Experience of using EMIS
- Experience of building and analysing searches using EMIS web
- Good presentation skills
Qualifications

- Full Registration with the GMC and hold license to practice
- MRCGP or nMRCGP
- Eligible to work immediately as a GP in the UK
- Completed GP Registrar training
- On a GP Performers list
Desirable
- Certificate in Family Planning Services
- Other diplomas or qualifications such as DCH,
- DRCOG
