Job summary

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Administrator to join St Pauls Medical Centre. This is a pivotal role to assist, support and enable the Practice to be run in an efficient and professional manner. Responsibilities are administrative in nature with non-clinical contact with patients and visitors.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job We are looking to recruit a flexible, friendly, self-motivated individual to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support. The post holder will also complete general administration tasks including Docman, answering the phone, completing spreadsheets, photocopying and scanning. Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written, to be able to converse with patients, relatives and other staff members in a professional manner via phone and email, taking and recording messages and acting on any requests in a timely manner. The ability to work independently with a flexible approach to work is also essential for the role as administration tasks will also be allocated from the Management Team. Previous experience of this role or working within Primary Care would be preferred.
