Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic practice nurse to join our experienced and supportive clinical team. The applicant will ideally have experience working in Primary care but we will consider those with a willingness to train to obtain qualifications in specific clinical skills and chronic disease management as per the needs of the surgery.
We are a supportive, forward thinking GP training practice
with a happy, reliable workforce providing care to approx. 11,700
patients. There is a strong emphasis on
high quality patient care, education and personal development.
Main duties of the job
Our practice nurses undertake the full range of treatment
room and chronic disease management, working closely alongside the wider
practice team which includes GPs, HCA's, APs, First Contact Practitioners,
pharmacy technicians and our wider PCN Team.
On occasion, we may see patients in their homes for
vaccinations and reviewing their long term conditions.

duties including wound care, immunisations and vaccinations, travel advice,
cytology, contraceptive care, phlebotomy and chronic disease management. We
also undertake reviews via the telephone, where appropriate.
