Job summary
Moorside Surgery is a friendly and successful training
practice based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for
a Clinical Coder/Summariser to join our multi-disciplinary team. The postholder
will be working alongside our current document manager/scanner coder.
We are rated outstanding for providing effective services
and for the care of people with long term conditions - our teams are committed
to delivering a high-quality provision to over 8500 patients with a focus on
continuity of care.
The Practice has a friendly and committed team of staff
consisting of 5 GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, Health Care
Assistants along with an experienced and supportive managerial and
administrative team.
The Surgery is a satellite Hub Practice offering patients
increased access to GP, Nurse, and Physiotherapy appointments on Wednesday
evenings. (Evening work is not required for this role).
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be reviewing
clinical documents, Lloyd George notes and other letters to identify relevant
clinical findings and read coding these documents as appropriate, to ensure
accuracy in medical records.
