Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated full time or 2 part-time GP administrators to join our team.

The role will be split between patient facing, telephone and back office administration. The responsibilities will include working with the admin team answering phones, helping patients at the desk, scanning and admin tasks and much more. It will also requirethe accurate and timely processing of prescription requests for our patients, liaising effectively with all relevant personnel, the processing of repeat prescriptions in electronic and hard copy format, including online requests. Applicants must be able to be flexible to cover annual leave along with short notice sick cover.

Good I.T., interpersonal and communication skills are essential, together with GCSE's. Experience of clinical coding and or prescriptions is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. As a member of the team, you must have the ability at times to work under pressure in a multitasking environment.

Main duties of the job
