ARCH Home Visiting Service are looking for a
well organised and highly motivated part time Business Support Administrator to
help support our multi-disciplinary
and multi-agency team of professionals working across the PCN area including
Alfreton, Ripley, Crich and Heanor.
This is a varied role to be part of a developing team and support a service to work in a different way.
Main duties of the job
Support
with referrals, scanning and uploading information taking responsibility for
the quality of the datato support the admin/clinical
team delivering this service, we are looking for someone with a strong interest
in working with people with frailty and who aspires to promote a continuous
improvement approach to leading and delivering responsive, safe, patient-centered,
and effective care. The successful candidate will support business support,
Business operations officer, operations manager and other clinical staff
including Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Community GPs to develop new and
responsive clinical pathways for seamless working, shape, and champion the
introduction of new clinical roles, challenge traditional ways of working and proactively
support individuals within the team to develop the necessary skills.
This role would be
suited to a candidate who has previously worked in primary care/acute or
community setting in an administrative role. Knowledge in using systems such as
system one is essential. The candidate would be supporting with onward
referrals to other health professions and voluntary services, minute taking,
collating data, answering phone calls, and calling patients/ relatives for the
clinical staff if needed.
This is a 30 - 37.5 hours a week role, working over Monday - Friday. Hours to be discussed at interview but between the hours of 8.30 - 6.30pm Monday - Friday.

As a
Business Support Assistant, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service
supporting managers and staff in the PCN Team Up! service.
The post holder will be a crucial part of the team to provide
business support on a day-to-day basis to the clinical team. The ideal
candidate will be flexible and adaptable, a creative thinker and able to use
their own initiative. Experience of using SystmOne is essential (experience of EMIS
is desirable) as is experience of working in Primary Care is. The role will
involve providing administrative support to the team conducting the clinical
visits, assisting with accessing and obtaining information from the clinical
records, prioritising emails, referrals and test results assigning them to the
clinician in a timely manner. The team hold a variety of meetings, this role
would support with that, liaising with a variety of stakeholders and providing
administrative support during the meetings.
The post holder will also be required to co-ordinate
administrative and secretarial
services; including for example, the preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up
action as required. Supporting the
team with the management of
projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the operations manager, clinical lead and the rest of the team.
