Job responsibilities

The focus of the role is ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to our patient population. The post holder will be be able to work as part of the whole general practice team as well as autonomously, demonstrating strong professional decision making skills and clinical expertise. They will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of evidence-based nursing care to the Practice population.

The ideal candidate will have experience in chronic disease management.

We are an established training practice and regularly have medical students & GP registrars. We like to empower our workforce, supporting you to develop to your fullest potential, as well as partnering with patients to take shared responsibility for their healthcare.

Qualifications

Essential

• The post holder must possess a current NMC PIN and maintain current membership of the Royal College of Nursing.

Experience

Essential

• Must have experience of working in a GP Practice.
• Must have experience of working in primary care.
