Job summary
A Care- Co-ordinator (also known as GP recceptionist) is the first point of contact for patients, handling administrative task, patient queries and appointment scheduling.
We are looking for a smart, well organised individual who can communicate at all levels, has the ability to problem solve, is empathetic, discreet and computer proficient.
Main duties of the job
Duties to include but not exhaustive:
Greeting patients, managing phone calls, booking and confirming appointments, processing prescriptions and maintaining accurate patient records. Care-Co-ordinators also play a key role in triage, asking questions to identify the urgency of symptoms and directing patients to the appropriate care, whether that be an appointment, a pharmacy or any other service.

Our practice is situated within the Bransholme Health Centre, we are based on the first floor.
We are a medium sized practice with approximately 6300 patients. Our CQC inspection took place in May 2025 our outcomes were:

Our current staffing consists of:
3 GP's and 1 Gp registrar, 2 Nurses, 1 HCA, 1GPA, 8 Care -Co-ordinators, A practice manager and a reception manager.
We are part of HASP PCN, together we provide comprehensive and integrated heathcare services to our local community.
