Job summary

Grove House surgery are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join their team. We are based in the Rose Green area of Bognor Regis, with over 11,500 patients. A large proportion of our patients suffer with chronic conditions and require continued monitoring and care to enable them to have the best quality life.

Main duties of the job

We are ideally looking for a candidate with experience of working as a healthcare assistant. As a training practice, we are willing to support less experienced candidates through relevant training to expand their skills and knowledge. The role will encompass various clinical duties, including running phlebotomy clinics.

About us

The surgery team is headed up by four GP partners a practice and business manager. The nursing team is lead by our Nurse lead, and consists of three registered nurses, one associate practitioner, a GP Assistant and one trainee nurse associate. We are a busy surgery with a good work ethic designed to deliver the best possible care to our patients.

AIMS OF THE POST:

The Health Care Assistant role will be responsible for ensuring that the practices philosophy and values are reflected in the way in which the duties of the post are fulfilled.

The overall responsibility will be to undertake all Health Care Assistant duties in a competent and professional manner.

The maintenance of the highest levels of patient confidentiality is absolutely essential.

Liaise with Nurse lead providing mutual feedback as appropriate.
