Main duties of the job
Deputise for the Practice Manager.
Manage
administrative staff and support non-clinical aspects of nursing staff,
including rotas, appraisals, training, and adherence to employment policies.
Oversee performance and quality standards,
ensuring accurate data quality, clinical system use, and production of reports
for audits and contract monitoring.
Coordinate key administrative functions such
as chronic disease recalls, immunisation and screening programmes, medicine
management targets, and claims administration.
Support staff with IT and system issues,
providing training and guidance.
Ensure confidentiality, equality, and
compliance with health and safety policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement, staff
development, and maintaining high standards of patient care and service
delivery.
Communicate effectively with patients, carers,
and colleagues to support a positive and professional practice environment.
About us
The practice has a list size of 6450 patients. We have a friendly Team of 5 Doctors, 2 Practice Nurses, HCA and a team of 6 Receptionists/Admin, Reception Supervisor, Deputy Practice Manager & Practice Manager. A midwife & 2 Occupational Therapists hold clinics weekly in the practice. Our Branch Surgery in Deganwy has surgeries Monday, Tuesday & Friday mornings.
