Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individuals to join our bank domestic team at Carlisle Healthcare, to cover holiday and sickness cover at our Carlisle surgeries. The evening work is 6.00pm - 8.30pm at North Carlisle, Eden Street and also morning work at our Locke Road, Eastern Way surgery, 5.00am - 8.00am

Main duties of the job

Our domestic assistants are part of the care team and work with other staff to maintain a clean and safe environment for all service users and staff. You will become part of a team who are passionate about supporting the NHS and its people in their vital work by keeping premises clean and safe. The Domestic Assistant is part of the care team and as such works with other staff and maintains a clean and safe environment for all Service Users and staff.

Job description

Job responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring a clean environment by: vacuum cleaning, mopping, dusting, cleaning mirrors, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, emptying and cleaning bins, and making sure paper towels, toilet tissue and hand soap dispensers are fully stocked.

What experience and skills do you need:

Medical environment cleaning experience and knowledge of infection control.

We are looking for people who have the right values and want to make a difference.

Salary + Benefits:

£12.75 per hour

30 days annual leave, plus public and bank holidays, pro rata

Access to the NHS pension scheme.

Part-time hours: variable per week, evenings 18.00-20.30.
