Job summary

Hall Green Health are seeking to recruit an experienced HCA. We are a large GP Practice located on Stratford Rd, Hall Green. The ideal candidate will ideally have previous experience of working in a GP surgery and possess the skills and experience associated with HCA duties.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Monitoring vaccine fridges

All of the tasks below once trained (if not already competent)

  • ECGs
  • Health checks - BPs, Weight, Height
  • Vaccinations - B12,
  • Flu jabs (seasonal)
  • Dressings & suture removal
  • Blood Tests
  • Foot Checks
  • Fridge Checks
  • Phlebotomy

Hall Green Health is a large Practice located on Stratford Rd. We are a busy Practice comprising of a supportive clinical and admin team. The Practice enjoys a good reputation with patients and currently and has a dedicated Nursing and HCA Team. The Practice is quite accessible by bus, train and car. Located on the main road there are many shops and eateries nearby. The Practice enjoys a friendly and professional environment with many staff members who have worked for a number of years

We are looking for a versatile and compassionate individual to join our General Practice team as aHealth Care Assistant. The role combines clinical support duties with care navigation and administrative responsibilities, ensuring patients receive seamless, high-quality care throughout their journey with the practice.

  • Phlebotomy training
  • Experience with Emis
  • Experience with care navigation or patient triage
  • Experience in general practice or NHS setting
  • Knowledge of QOF, Enhanced Services, and NHS pathways

  • NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Health and Social Care
