An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Teldocs Quality Team. This role is pivotal in maintaining a team approach to quality oversight and quality improvement processes within Teldoc.
Main duties of the job
Working in conjunction with the Director of Quality & Governance and the Quality Lead, you maintain and audit clinical standards in adherence to local and national priorities. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care within agreed parameters, and have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation which govern current service provision. To oversee Teldocs Infection Control processes to maintain safe patient care in all areas that the organisation delivers care. To provide surveillance and audit to inform the organisation of areas of risk. You will also have responsibility for supporting research within the practice and contributing to a range of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Portfolio studies and commercial studies across the organisation. As a Research Facilitator, you will have responsibility for supporting and contributing to a range of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Portfolio studies and commercial studies across the organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General
Demonstrate a sound understanding of clinical research, clinical governance and risk management and ensure its effective application to the work place

Quality Improvement

Support the Quality Nurse on all matters relating to the Prevention & Control of Infection, including policy development and implementation and the promotion of ownership of the infection prevention & control annual programme of work

Positively promote and maintain good working relationships with team members and other staff across the organisation
