Job summary
We are
looking for a member of staff to join our Medical Reports and Prescribing Team,
to work 35 hours per week, to provide administrative support to the clinical
team involving managing insurance reports, requests for medical records,
processing prescription requests and general clerical duties.
Main duties of the job
Utilising
clerical skills to ensure letters, reports and associated documentation are
completed as required, ensuring these are undertaken in a timely manner.
Managing
all enquiries in an effective manner.
Scanning
of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients'
health care records as necessary.
Processing
requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance/solicitor's letters and DVLA
forms.
Maintaining
a clean, tidy, effective working area always.
Supporting
all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
Respond
or action tasks sent via the EMIS system on a daily basis.
To
maintain and keep up to date data logs in computerised patient records in an
accurate and secure manner.
To
receive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls in order to facilitate
timely and appropriate communications with others, taking messages and dealing
with appropriate queries and tasks from either patients, services within the
NHS or insurance companies.
To
assist with the gathering of statistics and information when required.
To
provide internal cover for annual leave within the department.
To
be able to prioritise workload.
To
inform lead of possible data breaches.
To
manage and maintain emails that come through from colleagues within NHS services
or insurance companies.
Distributing
lab reports and medication requests on the clinical system to the relevant
clinical staff.
Processing
prescription request and queries.
About us
Teldoc has over 50,000 patients and continuing to grow. The role of Medical Reports Team Administrator/Prescribing Clerk will be based in the centre of Telford, TF3 4LY at our Head Office, located next to the train station.
The role will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm. Work pattern to be discussed.
We offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and NHS pension.
