Teldoc is Shropshires only Super Practice, formed through the merger of three of Telfords most forward-looking practices. We are now continuing to expand our flexible and multi-professional workforce.
Main duties of the job
We
are interested in hearing from enthusiastic and ambitious Paramedics, Advanced
Paramedics to undertake assessments for patients within the community on home
visits and those attending surgery. You will be required to competently assess,
examine, treat and manage patients of all age ranges with a variety of acute
undifferentiated and chronic conditions under the supervision of a GP.

Working under the
supervision of an Advanced Paramedic and GP, the post holder will attend
patients in their own home who wish to be seen by a health care professional.
The role will also rotate through the Same Day Access Hub. Working within their
scope of practice, the paramedic will assess, diagnose and treat patients
presenting with a wide range of undifferentiated problems and minor illness;
seeing and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing
needs. There may be a requirement to see extra or emergency patients. Patients
requiring a home visit will first be triaged by the GP who will provide advice
and support.
