Job summary
We are an expanding practice with a full team of clinical and administrative support. We are part of the Wisbech PCN a forward thinking dynamic group who enhance the practice with additional roles coming into the mainstream.
This job is to provide a full Practice Nurse service to the practice population. Ideally with COPD and Asthma qualifications and experience in this field, but not essential.
Main duties of the job
Treatment Room services to include :-
Vaccinations and Immunisations
Dressings
Health Checks
Reviews
Removal of sutures
COPD and Asthma care - including Spirometry preferred but not essential
B12 Injections
Depo injections
Testosterone injections
INR testing
Flu vaccinations
Covid Vaccinations
About us
We are a three partner practice, set in the rural village of Parson Drove.
We have a full compliment of staff to include Practice nurses, GP Assistant, Business Manager, Practice Manager, Medical Secretary, Locum GP and Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner, excellent team of medical receptionists.
We are a friendly practice with the patient at the centre of all decisions.

To provide a comprehensive service to the COPD and Asthma patients
To provide and maintain a high standard of
nursing care for patients as well as providing nursing assistance to the
doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasks normally
undertaken by an experienced RGN and in addition any role agreed between the
nurse and the doctors as appropriate, having regard to current training.
A Qualification and Experience in Respiratory medicine an advantage due to the need to look after the practices COPD and Asthma cohort.
