An exciting opportunity has arisen for the
right candidate to play a pivotal role in leading the group across main and
branch sites within a stable, award winning and forward-thinking team.
We are looking for a highly accomplished,
motivated, productive, and proactive individual with a demonstrable career in business
and people management and leadership, patient services, IT, finance, premises,
and strategic management. The successful candidate will be responsible for
organisational leadership, service improvement and delivery of key targets
across the full range of clinical and administrative areas within the practice.
A high degree of personal organisational skill is required along with a minimum of
three years expertise in primary care management experience.
Reporting to the Medical Director, you will provide
leadership and management skills to enable the Practice to meet its agreed aims
and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe, and effective working
environment.
Main duties of the job
The post of Practice Manager is a senior and key member of the team, and you are expected to
demonstrate good leadership qualities, with the ability to achieve goals and
targets using a combination of personal involvement, motivation of other staff
and delegation when appropriate. You must be flexible in your approach and have
boldness to take on new challenges.
The Practice Manager reports to the Medical Director so will work very closely with them. The Practice Manager is supported by a strong team of admin site managers and clinical support staff. There are further
opportunities to work closely with the other linked practices within the
organisation.
Weekly business
meetings are held and MDT clinical meetings every three weeks. The Practice Manager is expected to be CQC registered manager ensuring compliance,
maintaining high standards of care , recruitment of staff, financial accountability,
and growth. A good understanding
of IT and willingness to learn more about this including digital engagement are
important in this post.
