Job summary
Working as a key member of the Data Quality team you will be responsible for the application of performance and quality standards within the practice delivered through QOF to optimise efficiency and achievement. Possess an understanding of the requirements set out in the QOF achievement indicators to ensure their effective implementation along with regular monitoring. Ensure that data used for all reporting and analysis is accurate and reliable.
Main duties of the job
- Be responsible for the QOF recall system to ensure maximum QOF points are achieved on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Use SystmOne in analysing QOF Outcomes.
- Read and refer to the QOF Business Rules (latest version) regularly. Keep up to date with annual QOF changes.
- Co-ordinate invites to patients for Long Term Conditions
- Quarterly CKD and other disease reporting to identify new patients
- Undertake clinical searches and investigate data as appropriate
- Submit information required for audit purposes and/or action by other NHS agencies
- Provide guidance to QOF Lead and Practice Manager on areas for the QOF year. Liaise with clinical staff
- Identify and action errors impacting QOF achievement and action missing QOF data
- Manage Learning Disability and SMI (Severe Mental Illness) registers
- Provide guidance and support to the clinical team on correct coding
- Adhere to strict guidelines for General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
- Assist with updating of clinical templates as appropriate.

We are a successful and cohesive team of 2 GP partners, 5 salaried GP and 4 prescribing ANPs with 10,500 patients. We also have an experienced pharmacist, pharmacy technician, extended scope physiotherapist, an active social prescriber and a bereavement advisor. All supported by a growing administrative team providing support in alleviating the administrative tasks of general practice.
We are situated East of Plymouth in Plymstock so perfectly situated to explore both Dartmoor and the sea and the area feeds into excellent primary and secondary schools.
