Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and organised Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our friendly team as soon as possible.

Main duties of the job

Reception & AdministrativeDuties

Ensure an efficient front desk service is provided to patients and any other visitors attending the practice.

Processing telephone requests for appointments, visits and general enquiries; ensuring calls are signposted correctly.

Job responsibilities

Reception & Administrative Duties

Ensure an efficient front desk service is provided to patients and any other visitors attending the practice.

Answer and make telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner and assist with appointments, visits and general enquiries.

Deal with queries from patients, clinicians and other health professionals and to signpost calls/visitors appropriately.

Registering new patients and processing prescriptions.

Clearing and restocking consulting rooms regularly.

General administration duties: filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry, updating paper/electronic records and providing support to clinical team.

Organizing reception area, waiting room, stock room, leaflet dispensers and noticeboards.

Printing blood forms and completion of any other forms as required

Safely handling & processing samples received from patients

Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.

Other reception and support duties including chaperoning as and when required

To work in accordance with practice policies & protocols.

Demonstrate positive impression over the phone and face to face

Ability to remain calm, professional and courteous in a highly pressurized and stressful environment.

Ability to undertake delegated tasks with ability to work on their own initiative.

Ability to undertake trainings (as required) to meet the requirements of the role and the practice.

Ability to use computer, printer and email.

Excellent team player
