We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will become part of the professional team at the busy Woodside Medical Practice, undertaking a range of business administration duties within the nonclinical department. While previous experience in General Practice is desirable, it is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right person. This is a fast paced and demanding role that requires the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong IT and computer skills are essential.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be responsible for duties including:
Working as a key member of the Front of House, Patient Reception, and Patient Relations teams
Managing telephone enquiries, including making and receiving calls, and accurately recording all necessary information
Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
Registering patients, including processing both permanent and temporary registrations

Our team includes 2 Partners, 4 GPs, a Nursing Team, a PCN Pharmacy Technician, a Treatment Care Coordinator, and an MSK Specialist, all working collaboratively to provide comprehensive and compassionate healthcare.

Filing / retrieval of patient notes
Clinical Coding
Summarizing
Data entry and checking
Patient referrals

For the right candidate we are offering
Part time position, working five days per week from 2:30pm to 6:30pm, with extended access shifts twice a week from 3:30pm to 7:30pm.
Hourly rate minimum wage based on age
You will be required to contribute to the teams sickness and holiday rota cover being flexible at short notice
NHS Pension
You will be subject to completing a six month probationary period
