Job summary

We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our team.

Hours per week = 21

Working Pattern: Monday, Thursday and Friday 7.15-2.45 (including half hour unpaid lunch break)

Interviews will be held on Monday 28 July 2025.

Main duties of the job

Job Summary:

Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the post-holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients only as the result of a direct referral from a GP, Nurse practitioner or Practice Nurse.

Previous experience required.

About us

We are a busy General Practice located in the centre of Fareham. We currently have two Phlebotomists and would like to increase the team to provide additional weekly cover as well as flexibility for cross cover during leave etc.
