Job summary

Working to support Brownlow Health (BH), and collaborating with internal teams as well as external agencies, you will be an integral part of the management team. You will work to:

  • Utilise expertise to market and develop Brownlow Health as a positive, well-respected community-oriented brand, measurable via growth KPIS driven by list size
  • Deliver a dynamic and responsive PR strategy at local, regional and national level,
  • Optimise internal communications within our large organisation, increasing organisational efficiency, and improving staff satisfaction and engagement.
  • Provide regular, informative communication to Brownlow Heath patients, across multiple modalities, to ensure they are well abridged on Organisational news, local events and health promotion campaigns at local and national level.

Main duties of the job

To be an integral part of the marketing and communications function working closely with partners and the seniors' team to raise the profile of Brownlow Health both internally and externally.

To positively influence Brownlow Health online presence with a view of achieving the highest ratings at all sites

To deliver a robust communications and PR strategy to deliver Brownlow Health growth.

To deliver measurable healthcare awareness across the sector through management of online content, including social media and website adhering to NHS inclusive communication best practice standards

Delivery of any press releases, editorials, advertorial, case studies, as well as working together with management/teams to identify opportunities for BH exposure.

Supporting teams to organise events, attended when necessary to capture activity.

Be proactive in researching the latest tools and techniques, trialling new initiatives, and generating reports to evidence impact/reach.

Be proactive in supporting the training and development of the wider team in media training where appropriate.

Support in the drafting of marketing materials such as posters, brochures, and reports, collaborating closely with the wider PCN (Primary Care Network) teams.

Demonstrate an understanding of the bigger picture and the role marketing, communications, PR, and design have to play in healthcare.

Time management, problem-solving and organisation skills a must along with a can-do attitude.

  • End of year presentation to team on achievements
  • Ensuring all methods of communication are effective and used to the best of their ability, for example slack, team net, email, collating staff feedback, etc.
  • To deliver a robust communications and PR strategy to deliver Brownlow Health growth. This will include:
  • Liaising with housing developers to promote Brownlow Health
  • Liaising with local businesses to promote Brownlow Health
  • Liasing with local educational institutions to promote Brownlow Health.
  • Responding to google and NHS (National Health Service) reviews.
  • Promoting good practice and friends / family positives
  • Development of patient newsletter
  • Development of patient participation group
  • Improving ways of communicating with patients
