The Cheshire and Merseyside Primary Care Academy (Training Hub) is a collaborative of five locality training hubs that support the education and training needs of the multi-disciplinary primary care team. The overarching objective for the training hubs is to support with the growth and development of the primary care workforce within Cheshire and Merseyside. Our focus areas include:
- Understanding workforce needs
- Promoting careers and engagement
- Supporting education and development
- Identifying workforce requirements for service delivery
- Supporting new roles in General Practice
- We can support in areas such as mentorship, clinical supervision, student placements and establishing career pathways in all parts of the system.

Main duties of the job
Manage shared mailboxes- Sharing relevant
emails to stakeholders.
Provide administration and organisation support
of LTH (Locality Training Hub)
Be responsible for updating and completing the
finance spreadsheets relating to the various workstreams that we have, this
includes TPD, Fellowship, LEF and Student Nurse payments.
Complete remittances + invoicing support.
Organisation of meetings, occasionally taking
minutes if necessary.
Maintenance of standard Training Hub
documentation relating to placement activity
Build and maintain strong positive
relationships with the wider workforce across Cheshire and Merseyside
Ensure timely and effective response to member
and external customer training and development queries.
Effectively manage own time, workload, and
resources.
Liaise with HEIs/ further educational
institutes and Training Hub about learners placements.
Gathering feedback from learners and educators
about the placement experience
Although we allow for some remote working (depending on the role)
we want to make you aware that you will need to be based on-site in one of the
Practices to carry out your duties. We would also like to state that you will
need to reside in Liverpool (or within the near vicinity).
