Job summary
The ANP will provide expert clinical care, supporting
our mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered services. This role
involves working autonomously, managing a caseload of patients, and
contributing to the overall clinical leadership within the practice. The role
requires that the ANP works across all four pillars of advanced practice:
clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research.
Contributing to the education and development of others, audit, and research
relevant to area of practice and providing leadership to more junior team
members.
Main duties of the job
Conduct
comprehensive clinical assessments including physical examinations medical
histories and diagnostic investigations
Formulate
differential diagnoses and develop appropriate management plans including prescribing
medications within the scope of practice
Utilise
advanced clinical skills to manage acute chronic and complex conditions including minor illness
Provide
holistic care considering the physical psychological and social aspects of
the patients health
Develop
and implement care plans monitor progress and adjust treatments as necessary
Offer
advice and education to patients on health promotion disease prevention and
lifestyle management
Contribute
to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies
within the practice

Qualifications

- Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Pharmacist, or Allied Health Professional with relevant registration (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent).
- Masters degree in advanced clinical practice or equivalent qualification e.g., credentialling.
- Independent prescribing qualification.
Desirable
- Knowledge of public health issues
- Able to identify determinants on health in the area
- Knowledge of public health issues in the area
- Project management
- At least 2 years recent primary nursing experience
- Working with community development initiatives
- Health-needs assessment
