Job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner who will also be flexible, well-organised and self-motivated.
We are flexible regarding hours which could be in the range from 25 - 37.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive package dependent on experience.
The successful applicant will be employed by Ribblesdale Primary Care Network but work solely for The Castle Medical Group.
Main duties of the job
The ANP will be an experienced nurse who holds an appropriate, specific, advanced professional qualification which meets NMC requirements for high level practice.
The ANP will work with the practice team to provide high quality care which meets the needs of the practices patient population and will be involved with providing a weekly ward round on a rota basis to one of our local residential care homes.
Working within defined professional boundaries, they will be able to make safe clinical decisions relating to assessment, diagnosis, treatment and review. The ANP will demonstrate critical thinking ability.
The ANP will function as an integral part of the clinical leadership team in the practice, providing advice and guidance to the nursing team to ensure they deliver the best care based on the needs of the practice's population.
NMC requirements for advanced practice must be met.

The Castle Medical Group is a CQC Outstanding practice made up of six GP partners, five salaried GPs, four Advanced Nurse Practitioners and a nursing team of eight supported by an experienced and enthusiastic administration team.
We are a close-knit friendly practice. We have regular weekly clinical
meetings which are an opportunity for all clinicians to meet and discuss
complex patients, guidelines, significant events and to review strategies and
systems.
Alongside this, our ANPs benefit from weekly clinical supervision time with a GP partner where they are given the opportunity to discuss patient cases and development as a team.
