Job summary

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing safe and efficient medication administration. You will have the opportunity to work closely with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure the highest level of care. Main duties of the job

Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients- Prepare and package medications for distribution- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies- Enter patient information and prescriptions into the computer system- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals- Follow all safety and quality assurance protocols

Requirements:

- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or certification- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of medication names, dosages, and uses- Familiarity with pharmacy laws and regulations
