Healthcare Assistant HCA

Practice: Groby Road Medical Centre, 9 Groby Road, Leicester LE3 9ED

Hours: 18 - 30 hours per week Wed/Thu/Fri, ideally 09:3015:30

Salary: Dependent on experience

Closing date: 10 October 2025

Essential qualification: NVQ Level 3

Were a friendly, well-established GP practice (11,000+ patients) with a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Were

looking for a confident, patient-focused HCA to complement our clinical team and help us deliver outstanding care.

What youll do

Phlebotomy

NHS Health Checks; blood pressure monitoring (including 24-hour ABPM); urine testing

Assist with chronic disease management

Administer vaccinations - as per competence and protocols

Main duties of the job

About you

NVQ Level 3

Experience as an HCA in primary care is ideal

Confident communicating with patients in person and by phone

Highly organised, great team player, and calm under pressure
