As part of the management team, you will work closely with the Practice Manager and Partners to help oversee practice operations, implement procedures, support staff, and contribute to service improvements. You will be actively involved in both administrative and operational tasks and play a vital role in maintaining a supportive, well-organised, and patient-centred environment.

Main duties of the job
You will support the Practice Manager across a wide range of operational, administrative, and compliance tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the surgery. This includes coordinating meetings, maintaining practice policies and registers, supporting recruitment and staff development processes, overseeing patient feedback and communication, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You will also play a key role in supporting the reception/admin teams, leading on internal communications (e.g., newsletters, PPG meetings), and deputising for the Practice Manager in their absence.
