Job summary

We are seeking a professional and friendly Reception Supervisor /Manager to join our large muti-sited practice in Barnsley.

We require a skilled motivated supervisor/manager to lead our reception services and associated practice administration. Experience in primary care is essential, managerial / supervisor experience is highly desirable or this role.

Main duties of the job

  • Initial patient and staff queries
  • Staff supervision
  • Training of staff
  • Complaint resolution
  • Administration duties
  • Data quality and performance monitoring
  • Clinical system work
  • Care navigation

The candidate will need to have:

  • Good communication skills written and verbal
  • Proficiency in office software and ideally EMIS clinical system
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a busy environment
  • Experience working in an administration role for a minimum of one year
  • Ideally have some supervisor / manager experience
  • Experience working in primary care would be very advantageous
