We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic
and flexible Nurse, ideally from a primary care setting (but not essential) who
is keen to develop and work closely with us to further expand and improve the
services we offer to our patients.
Main duties of the job
JOB SUMMARY
The Practice Nurse role is to provide a high quality nursing care service based on the needs of our practice population which includes chronic disease management, cervical screening, preventative care and education, immunisations, INR management, ECGs.You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. You may be required to provide home visits in certain circumstances.

We are looking for the post holder to 24-48 hours across Monday Friday. Friday is mandatory and at least one 6pm finish per week is required.

- Assess individuals health needs,and manage simple illnesses in an acute primary care setting.
- Referral / sign posting to appropriate health professional, including referral on to secondary care.Provide patient information and education.
- Ensure Services clinical protocols are adhered to at all times
- Work within guidelines
- Ensure full and accurate records are maintained and confidentially withheld
- Maintain own personal and professional development plan
- Work at all times within the NMC Code of professional practice

Grove House Partnership based in Runcorn, Cheshire, is a high achieving, dynamic and innovative 5 Partner PMS practice, committed to serving a population of 14,700 patients, in an area of high deprivation.
We are a busy training practice, use EMIS Web and have paper lite accreditation.Having a very friendly team that works well together and apart from this vacancy, our Nursing team consists of 4 other part-time Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate and a Healthcare Assistant. Our Nursing team provides all the usual GP Practice Nursing services, as well as in-house INR clinics.
