Job summary
We are a friendly group of professionals seeking an experienced individual in Primary care to manage and support the current management and leadership structure of our Primary Care Network (PCN). Clacton PCN is made up of 6 individual general practices across Tendring. With a diverse total patient population of around 45,000. The successful candidate will support delivery of additional services to the practices and our patient population group.

Main duties of the job
The business manager will be the first point
of contact for Practice Managers regarding delivery of Network
projects/schemes.
Manage contractual requirements on behalf
of the Network.
Co-ordinate training and development of PCN
clinical/administrative staff
Co-ordinate the delivery of enhanced
services and other service submissions on behalf of the Network
Support recruitment, induction, and
training of new PCN staff
Collate feedback / analysis data on behalf
of the Network to report to the ICB as appropriate.
To manage the Workflow processes in
relation to the above
Take notes of meetings and circulate in a
timely manner to other network members.
The PCN Business Manager will
work with the Clinical Director, member practices and the Digital and
Transformation Lead to achieve consensus and drive through and deliver agreed
changes.

North Clacton Medical Centre,
Thorpe surgery,
Fronks Rd surgery
Harewood surgery
Together the practices have a patient population of approximately
45,000. The PCN serves an area with pockets of significant deprivation. The
population served by member practices is older than the national average.
The post-holder will be part of the PCN Management team, working
alongside the Clinical Director, Clinical Lead, Digital and Transformation
lead, Finance assistant and Network practice members to deliver the Primary
Care Networks agenda.
The PCN Business Manager is independent of member practices,
acting as a source of expertise, to co-ordinate the management of all
governance requirements, and to help shape and implement meaningful services in
line with national and local policy and contracts, supporting member practices
and to achieve improved outcomes for the local population.
